About the Role

Book-N-Bounce STL is looking for energetic, hardworking Delivery & Setup Helpers to join our weekend event crew! In this part-time role, you will ride along with our Lead Drivers to deliver, install, and tear down inflatables (bounce houses, water slides, and obstacle courses) for parties and events across the St. Charles and greater St. Louis area.

This is a physical, fast-paced job that takes place mostly outdoors. It is highly flexible and perfect for students or anyone looking to supplement another part-time job with great weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Delivery & Setup: Ride with the Lead Driver to various event locations, helping to unload, unroll, position, and securely anchor heavy inflatables.
  • Equipment Care: Clean, sanitize, and inspect equipment on-site to ensure it looks great and is safe for use.
  • Teardown & Loading: Deflate, tightly roll, and load heavy inflatables and blowers back onto the truck or trailer at the end of the rental period.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide a friendly, polite, and professional experience when interacting with parents and event hosts during setup and teardown.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist with organizing, cleaning, and prepping equipment at the warehouse before and after routes.

Requirements

  • Physical Stamina: This is a labor-intensive job. You must be able to repeatedly lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs, and comfortably maneuver hand trucks loaded with heavy vinyl rolls.
  • Weekend Availability: The event industry relies heavily on weekends. Must be available for shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
  • Reliability: Punctuality and strong communication skills are a must. Our customers rely on us to get their parties started on time.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from our starting location. (Note: You will not be required to drive the company delivery trucks).

  • Great Earning Potential: Base pay of $16.00 – $18.00/hour, plus the opportunity to earn tips and performance bonuses from happy customers!
